Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards in India and the UAE.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on IT security risks and incidents.
- Promote security awareness within the organization to reduce the risk of security breaches.
- Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents, including investigation and remediation.
- Manage user access controls and permissions.
- Ensure proper identity and access management processes are in place.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and anti-virus solutions.
- Monitor and manage security systems to detect and respond to security breaches.
- Implement data encryption and other protective measures.
- Ensure the secure storage and transmission of sensitive data.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for security audits.
- Evaluate and recommend security products and technologies
- Oversee and coordinate information security efforts for remote offices in India and the UAE.
- Ensure consistent implementation of security measures across all locations.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in information security or a related IT field.
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar are preferred.
- Strong understanding of information security principles and practices.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
