Purchase Coordinator

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee procurement, sourcing, and contracting of materials.
  • Creates accurate purchase orders by verifying specifications and pricing on project and regular stock products.
  • Reconcile companies stock inventories on receipt of purchase requests and plan for buying.
  • Understand the company’s budget and negotiate for the best possible price.
  • Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality standards, and contract adherence.
  • Conduct physical check on arrival of products to ensure the accuracy of quantity & quality.
  • Inform suppliers if there are any defects or damage at the earliest and request quick replacement.
  • Maintain up-to-date procurement records, including contracts, invoices, and vendor communications.
  • Assist in solving any outstanding payment issues between the company and the suppliers.

 

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 3 to 4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain
  • Knowledge of purchase procedures and vendor handling
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to assess supplier quotes and negotiate effectively.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and PO software.
