Workshop Manager / Service Manager

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the service department, including staffing and training.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Coordinate closely with the workshop manager for scheduling and technician performance.
- Support the sales team with technical insights and assistance.
- Attend management meetings and submit performance reports.
- Develop and implement service strategies aligned with company goals.
- Optimize resource allocation and ensure timely service delivery.
- Keep up with industry trends to suggest innovative improvements.
- Lead hiring, training, and mentoring of service staff.
- Maintain high service quality through strong standards and procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of service management experience in the marine industry.
- Mercury certification required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing communication abilities.
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing work effectively.
- Deep knowledge of outboard/inboard engines and components.
- Proficient with relevant software and systems.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.
- Willing to travel as required.
- MTU/ZF certification or experience is a plus.
