Junior Internal Auditor

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of audit programs, checklists, and planning documents.
- Conduct preliminary risk assessments and background research to support audit planning.
- Help identify key controls and processes for testing during audit engagements.
- Prepare detailed working papers to support audit findings, ensuring compliance with professional and quality standards.
- Summarize audit results and contribute to drafting clear, actionable observations and recommendations.
- Support the preparation of audit reports for review by senior auditors and management.
- Communicate effectively with auditees to gather relevant information and clarify audit-related issues.
- Collaborate with audit team members to meet deadlines and achieve audit objectives.
- Uphold professionalism, integrity, and objectivity throughout all audit activities.
- Stay informed on internal audit methodologies, control frameworks, and applicable regulations.
- Participate in internal training sessions, workshops, and pursue relevant external certifications.
- Actively seek feedback and guidance to enhance audit skills and deepen business understanding.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of internal audit experience.
- Basic understanding of risk-based auditing and internal control frameworks.
- Familiarity with UAE regulatory requirements, including VAT, AML/CFT, corporate governance, and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and integration audits (e.g., HR, payroll, and financial systems, Logistics, Sales, Procurement etc).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
