On 19 October 2025, the courts at Danube Sports World hosted a milestone moment — the first-ever APL Women’s Badminton Tournament under the AMIT Premier League banner. What began as an idea to celebrate sport, teamwork, and wellness blossomed into a day of electrifying rallies and remarkable camaraderie, perfectly capturing the essence of the AMIT family.
In a gripping finale, the HR Team claimed the championship with a hard-fought 2–1 victory over the Accounts Team, while the Corporate Team secured a deserving third place. Every match showcased resilience, discipline, and mutual respect — the hallmarks of APL’s competitive yet collaborative spirit.
The tournament also reaffirmed our commitment to holistic well-being. In recognition of October – Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we organized comprehensive health check-ups for employees and their families, encouraging preventive care and early screening. This wellness drive reflects our belief that peak performance is built on a foundation of good health and informed choices.
A standout of the day was Sacha Dane (HR), named Player of the Tournament for exemplary skill, composure under pressure, and unwavering sportsmanship. As the inaugural chapter of APL badminton closes, the legacy it sets is clear: sport unites us, challenges us, and elevates us.
