Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala, is more than just a celebration — it is a symbol of unity, prosperity, and cultural heritage. At AMIT, we embrace these values as they align closely with our own principles of trust, integrity, and community.

The day was marked with traditional activities, beginning with the beautiful Athapoo (floral carpet), a colorful expression of creativity and teamwork. Employees from different backgrounds joined hands to create intricate designs, symbolizing harmony and togetherness.

Flavors of Tradition

No Onam celebration is complete without the Onam Sadhya — a grand vegetarian feast served on banana leaves. Our team indulged in a delicious spread, from crispy banana chips to the sweet richness of Payasam, honoring the flavors that define Kerala’s culinary heritage. Each dish reflected the values of abundance and gratitude, reminding us of the importance of sharing and community spirit.

To add a traditional touch, we also celebrated with Maveli (King Mahabali), whose return during Onam is a reminder of equality, happiness, and harmony — values we deeply respect at AMIT.
