Fire Safety First: AMIT Conducts Company-Wide Fire Drill on 28th July 2025

On Monday, 28th July 2025, AMIT International Group conducted a comprehensive fire safety drill across its major UAE facilities, including the AMIT Engineering FZE office and workshop, AMIT Marine Services FZE office and workshop, and the AMIT International Group Warehouse. The initiative was part of AMIT’s ongoing commitment to creating a safer and more responsive work environment.

At AMIT, safety isn’t just compliance — it’s a deeply ingrained culture. This coordinated fire drill was aimed at reinforcing our team’s awareness, readiness, and ability to act swiftly and responsibly in the face of emergencies.

The drill covered all vital aspects of fire safety preparedness, ensuring that employees across departments were familiar with emergency protocols and confident in executing them:

  • Orderly evacuation procedures from office and workshop zones
  • Designated assembly point briefings to maintain accountability
  • System checks on fire alarms and emergency alert systems
  • Live demonstration of fire extinguisher use using the PASS method (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep)
  • Hands-on familiarization with firefighting equipment and safety tools
  • Defined roles and coordination strategies for fire wardens and emergency marshals
  • Verification of exit accessibility and safety signage throughout all premises

These drills weren’t just procedural—they were educational. Our employees actively participated in simulations and training, ensuring they understand the importance of being vigilant, informed, and capable during emergencies.

By holding this drill across multiple divisions, AMIT International Group continues to strengthen its QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) principles and reinforce our dedication to employee well-being and operational integrity.

Every second matters in an emergency — and preparedness makes the difference.
At AMIT, we prepare not just to protect assets, but to protect lives. 🛡️
