Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute engaging content strategies for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & Linked-In that align with brand objectives and target audience preferences, ensuring a consistent brand voice.
- Create and curate high-quality, original content, including written posts, articles tailored to retail audiences.
- Manage social media channels, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement metrics to optimize content performance and audience reach.
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience insights to inform content creation and strategy.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and other stakeholders to ensure content aligns with overall marketing campaigns and brand messaging.
- Write product descriptions, promotional copy and campaign messaging for digital channels.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Respond to comments and messages promptly and professionally, fostering a positive online community and addressing customer inquiries.
- Optimize content for search engines and social media platforms, including the use of relevant keywords and hashtags.
- Manage and maintain content calendars to ensure consistent and timely content delivery across all social media channels.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field provides a strong foundation.
- Relevant certifications in social media marketing or content creation can demonstrate specialized knowledge and expertise.
- Prior experience within the marketing or advertising industries is highly advantageous.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience in social media content creation and management is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for crafting compelling content and engaging with the audience.
- A strong understanding of the target audience’s preferences and behaviors and the ability to tailor content accordingly.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms to track performance and optimize content.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
- A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas and adapt to evolving social media trends.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
